Part Time Party Porkers is a BBQ competition team.  The team pretty much consists of me, Big Poppa Pig.

I have been BBQing, Barbecuing, Barbequing or however you want to say it for many years now.  I got the bug for competition after I visited Memphis in May one year.   I am a proud member of Kansas City Barbeque Society as not only a competing team but as a certified judge.

Although I have not won any professional competitions, I have won several local non-sanctioned events, and I always win for my barbecue sauces.

I currently participate in 3 to 5 competitions a year and I am hoping this year will the the one when I actually place in one of the categories.
